Update from the sea 1, Departure..

We left Port of Everett today at about 11am.  After several hours of

motoring north on the east side of Whidbey Island we anchored in a small

bay on the north side of Hart island (also known as Skagit Island.). We

managed to catch some seaweed in the prop at one point which slowed our

progress.

Lunch consisted of bagel sandwiches with all sorts of fixins.  The

weather was beautiful.

We are about 3 miles east of Deception Pass which we’ll pass through

tomorrow at about 10am during slack tide.

Tonight’s meal was BarBQ steak and baked potatoes.  Everyone is tired and

full.
