Equipment
The boat has standard rigging, a complete sail inventory (except for a storm jib) and the inboard diesel engine option. Being a 2-29 it has a more “cruising” interior than the straight 29 model. A 110V forced air heater was installed for use while moored. There is also a completely new propane system with remote electronic valve that provides fuel for the original avocado colored 3 burner stove/oven and a Force 10 propane heater. Most of the cushions have been replaced but most everything is original and in very good condition.
In the cockpit, the original knotmeter and a depth sounder are available. A new Ritchie compass sits on the helm and an older AutoHelm unit is installed. There is also a pretty nice soft dodger with detachable side skirt/windows. The VHF radio looks original and there is a quite old CB on board as well.
Upgrades will include a new VHF radio, an actual stereo for music, and some sort of navigation system (either laptop based or standalone). I’d also like to get a wind speed/direction display.
