First Sailing Trip – Day 9 – Cleaning Crew Final Bout

We spent the morning cleaning up and packing on board, moved the boat into our permanent slip and drove home. Thus ends our first long trip in this boat. It’s been a great trip and I can’t wait to get out again. I have a whole list of projects now that I’ll be working on slowly. I can say that the batteries, inverter and general electrical systems worked very well. I even ran the shop-vac off the inverter today for a while and the batteries still seemed to have power in reserve. It’s good to be home but sorta disappointing that the trip is over. It actually felt like a real vacation which is awesome and I didn’t have that feeling of needing a vacation from the vacation. I also did pretty much ZERO work for the 9 days which is another very rare event.
